Forked on Main is a casual contemporary eatery, located in the historic Sparks building on Main Street in Orange, VA. Walk in the door and you’re instantly faced with the hostess stand and a decision – a fork in the road. Take a right and you enter a light-filled dining room that can seat couples, families or even private parties. Take a left, and you’re ensconced in the lounge, perfect for a casual mid-day coffee, a happy hour drink with co-workers or a night out on Main Street with friends.

Cancellations made with less than 48-hours notice to the date of the reservation, will incur a cancellation fee of $35 per person. This is a wonderful gem of a restaurant in Orange, VA. The service was top notch, the food was excellent, and the ambience perfect for a night out. Suitable for families , friends, and couples. Our server, Shawn, was attentive and knowledgable, and very friendly throughout the evening. There was also some lovely live guitar music that made the evening that much nicer.

Food was great. Our waitress was great however the service from the kitchen was a little slow. Overall, a great place to dine.

It was Valentine's Day. Busy, we've been there before and this wasn't their best performance. However, based upon prior experience there, we will go back.

Forked on Main is a great destination restaurant in a quaint country town. The food is fantastic and the service is great. The menu has something for everyone. Try their specialty cocktails. They do an Old Fashioned that is best I have ever had.

Another excellent meal at Forked. The renovation looks great and really gives the dining room a warm and cozy feel. Shawn took very good care of us. The salmon and the chicken parm were perfect. We shared an apple crisp, a la mode would have topped it off, but vanilla ice cream was available. Still a good choice.

Everyone was super welcoming and helpful. Happy hour special is very affordable, and the crusted brussels sprouts appetizer was particularly delicious. I loved my shrimp and grits entrée, and my wife’s burger was excellent.

Another flavorful and well-prepared meal. Worth the 45-minute drive from home. We'll go back and we do recommend.

NYE dinner was fabulous. All 4 courses were delicious with ample portions. The crab bisque was rich in flavor and light cream. The bone marrow was really interesting with a simple presentation that packed so much flavor in each bite.
