Gasthof Forsthaus, located in Moritzburg, is a beautiful and intimate restaurant and event space available for lunch, dinner and special occasions. A quaint dining space is wistfully decorated in the style of old Germany, and Gasthof Forsthaus's history as a hunting lodge has made its way into the decor as well as the menu. Dishes of venison dominate the menu, prepared in a variety of ways from traditional German cooking techniques. Diners can also enjoy the local Meissner wines, which come from a local vintner. After dinner, guests can stroll around the Gasthof Forsthaus grounds or even enjoy a ride on a horse-drawn carriage.

Dieses Gasthaus ist ein echter Knüller. Das Essen ist sitzenmâßig, der Service ist hervorragend und das Ambiente rustikal gemütlich. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Reservierung hat tadellos geklappt. Essen war sehr gut. Preis Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Kommen gerne wieder.

Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt, sehr schöne Speisekarte für jeden etwas dabei und lecker war es auch. Normale Wartezeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir sind aus Leipzig und fahren jedes Jahr im Herbst zum Schloß Moritzburg und am Abend zum Essen in diese herrliche Gaststätte Das Essen ist immer so gut und regional und lecker und das Personal wunderbar….. danke, dafür das ihr da seit und hoffentlich bleibt…. danke , dass ihr arbeitet und freundlich eure Arbeit macht…. Tut gut
