   We had an incredible dining experience at Fortu. This was the best meal I’ve had in years. Our server was incredibly attentive and even welcomed us with complimentary champagne for our anniversary. We chose the pre fixe menu which was perfect and plenty of food. The scallops were probably the best I have ever had. 12/10 experience will absolutely be going back.

   One of the best dining experiences I've ever had from start to finish. Incredible ambiance, INCREDIBLE food, and unparalleled service. This is a DO NOT MISS!! And do not let the prices scare you, it's well worth every cent.

   Dinner last night exceeded my expectations! We were two couples, hard core foodies and we were pleasantly surprised, first of many times for sure!

   I went by myself and the staff was extremely tentative. My water never got below half and every time I looked in the menu, my waiter came up a few minutes later to see if I wanted to order. I waited for months for Fortu to open and I was so excited to try it. Exceeded my expectations!

   We loved the fix price menu because you really get a feel for the excellent food choices. I did think the music was too loud and not a good choice for the beautiful atmosphere and vibe the interior has.

   Disappointing Experience Despite Great Food I had high expectations for Fortu but left disappointed after my recent visit. I made a 9:15 PM reservation, but upon arriving, we were rushed to order because the kitchen was closing. If you’re going to offer late reservations, customers shouldn’t feel pressured to make hasty decisions, especially at these price points. I also noted in my reservation that it was my partner’s birthday and was told they had a special birthday dessert that’s not on the menu. I was expecting a thoughtful surprise, but instead, the server came to the table asking what dessert we wanted—completely ruining the moment. I ordered the cheesecake, and to my dismay, it didn’t even come with a candle. The entire experience lacked the personal touch I had hoped for, making the celebration feel underwhelming. It seemed like the host never communicated with the server about our special occasion. Additionally, while the food itself was incredible, the execution missed the mark. We ordered the ribeye Wagyu steak, advertised as 14 ounces, but there’s no way the portion we received was that size. We also requested it medium-rare, but it came out medium—normally I wouldn’t mind, but for an $80+ steak, expectations are higher. For a $280 dinner for two, I anticipated a flawless experience, but instead, I left feeling let down. While the food is excellent, the lack of attention to detail and service left a sour taste in my mouth. Not sure I’d return, especially for a special occasion.

    While cold days dont exist too often in FL, claiming your patio is heated was realistically not true. It was pretty cold last night, in the 50s and the “heaters provided no warmth” They only have a few of them outside and they are placed way too high above the table for you to feel it. Not impressed with the patio for a high priced established. The cold ruined the experience.
