   A nice place to have a good meal, along with a good conversation with friends. We never felt ruched!

   Three of us enjoyed a great meal - two had the grouper & thought it was great. I had the triple tail special & it was fantastic. The sauces on both were exceptionally good. The key lime pie was superb, as was the chocolate cake. Paul took great care of us and dining by the water at sunset made it even better. It is pricy, but worth it!

   Great service from friendly professional people. Amazing view of the water and great food. All around great experience with a laid back but very nice atmosphere.

   My wife and I in town from NC our fifth year in a row from NC spring visit to Key West. We out for dinner celebrating our fifth anniversary. We were referred by staff at Mansion by the Sea where we are staying, a few blocks from Four Marlins. We sat outside, enjoying the beautiful ambience and sunset. It went downhill from there. We had grilled sourdough bread before dinner, a big disappointment. It got worse, entrées were not well prepared and over priced. With wine, beer (Not cold) and tip, we spent over $200, very unsatisfied. We were going to order dessert, but decided we had enough, paid and left. I was especially disappointed, being a Hilton Honors Gold status member, with Four Marlin in the Reach hotel, Hilton property. Needless to say, we will not return to Four Marlins, but hope they can recover and improve.

   Service was slow and inattentive. App came out before drinks. Was never asked if I wanted another drink. Waiter never checked on us. Was supposed to be sat on the beach for the tasting menu but was sat on the deck instead and no tasting menu. Scallops app was really good. Drink was ok when it finally made it. $67 filet had zero seasoning and came with steamed unseasoned string beans. Really not worth the money.

   Service was so slow and it wasn’t busy. We had to ask for more drinks and it took the waiter coming back twice to remember them. The chicken was dry and the (mayo based) macaroni salad was room temperature.
