Great evening! We went to dinner before the ballet and they made sure to get us in and out on time. All was great. Best French onion soup this side of the Atlantic!!!!

My dining companions and I were pleasantly surprised by our experience at Francois Frankies. Escargot was tasty; texture was excellent. My friend enjoyed the French onion soup; said it was one of the best she had. Portions were good. Excellent cocktail and wine list. One small complaint was my burger was a little too welcome done, but still tasty. Think of this place especially for pre-theater dining.

Did not appreciate the restaurant accepting a 5 person reservation to squeeze us at a SMALL 4-person max table. Was very uncomfortable for a business lunch. Would have booked elsewhere if I knew we’d be pressed on top of one another.

The food was fabulous! Cocktails were surprisingly better than I anticipated. Wish we saw the carosel bar spin!

The beef bourguignon was AMAZING, the chicken was decent. Was excited for some desserts but a little disappointed the mousse was almost still frozen? All in all the ambiance was super cool and a unique spot. Some absolute hits and some okay dishes.

Good service, not especially friendly but very attentive and prompt. The food was a mixed bag, with the small plates being mediocre and one was still partially frozen (but this was swiftly addressed and fixed). The entres were mostly good, except the pasta was very lame, which was disappointing but edible. Overall I think it was pretty good but pretty overpriced considering the quality of the food. Nice atmosphere.
