   Very good authentic experience. Really liked the restaurant itself and the gift shops in the lower level. The pork schnitzel was very good.

   Overpriced and the food is less than mediocre. However enjoying day in Frankenmuth allowed for the aesthetic. Do not plan to return. Things have greatly changed over the years.

   We are return customers to Bavarian Inn Restaurant during the holiday season. This was our most disappointing experience in our many years visiting. At check-in, there was one singular long line for those of us who had reservations, and those who did not—this line to check-in was terribly long and inefficient. The hostess was overwhelmed and unprepared. The table we sat at seemed to lean in towards the diners, so table wear was slipping on the uneven table. Our table was unfortunately located next to the long line of frustrated visitors. The waitress was friendly, but was rushed and served and stacked the food quickly on the table. We felt rushed. The food was as expected. What used to be a friendly, happy holiday experience, was frustrating for the entire family. Bavarian Inn knows that December is their busiest season—they should educate their staff, be more attentive to crowd and table space planning, and manage accordingly.

    Great experience!!! Good food. Plenty to share a dinner. The cheese puffs were delicious. Shops in the lower level were cute.
