   Very professional and charming service and great food. Wine tasting offered for an Italian light red we were unfamiliar with and good advice all around. Sat out side by request and had a perfect evening.

   Very disappointing, I’ve been here on a number of occasions over the years. No opportunity to move to a table outside when we were pretty much the 1st to arrive. Marooned on an awkward table inside the darkest part of the restaurant even after a request to move. The specials had run out by 7 pm and the steak that I was served looked like it might have come from the local Woolworths. Underpar and overdone. The only possible silver lining was the bombe Alaska which was phenomenal.

   One of the all time favourites. First time ever I had a bad dish there (steak special) but as they have such good service they offered to refund it. Great place.

   Food was good. Beef carpaccio and rucola salad was fresh and delicious. Lasagna was generous portions and quite tasty. Asparagus risotto was bland. Bombed Alaska was excellent. The ambience was lively and pleasant. Service was a bit slow but it was fully booked the day we came in so understandable.
