French Meadow Bakery & Café on Grand Avenue brings you organic, fresh, and sustainable farm-to-table cuisine in a welcoming environment. Our eclectic menu offers something for everyone -- vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and omnivores alike -- plus a selection of local beers, cocktail specials, and organic / sustainable wines, as well as our signature bread, pastries, and desserts. All of our produce and meats are from our regional farmer partners, all of whom operate organic, sustainable, and humane farms. Brunch seating, Friday through Sunday, is on a first-come, first-served basis. We will not be taking reservations between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Patio seating is always available on a first-come, first-serve basis. We continue to offer takeout/curbside pickup.

Very busy and full restaurant. Lucked out with a corner table. Otherwise definitely would have been uncomfortable with so many full tables so close together. Waitress was super busy with lots of tables luckily we were not in any hurry. First time eating there and was going for gluten free meal. Had the fried chicken sandwich and firecracker slaw as a side dish. Did not like the flavor of either the sandwich or the slaw very bitter was expecting firecracker to be spicy or tangy not bitter so maybe just personal preference or misunderstanding what firecracker flavor is supposed to mean.

Dining on the sunny patio punctuated by plants all around was very pleasant. My organic salad had the very best organic Romaine lettuce and very tasty maple dijon dressing with fresh apple slices - tasty. The coffee was aromatic and our server was very accommodating, pleasant and eager to please. My husband's burger was superb. We always look forward to having lunch at French Meadow in September/October to take pleasure in seeing the three red (Japanese?) maples but alas, our drought and hot summer was too much for them this year, we think. Very positive experience all around. Thank you.

Their back patio is amazing in the fall. You do have to deal with the occasional bee, unfortunately, but no more so than any other patio this time of year. Their lattes are delicious :)

As always, food and service were great. Server was very pleasant and engaging. Only complaint is they were a little skimpy on the fries. Everyone ran short so we ordered a family order. We love French Meadow, both locations.
