Second time eating there, Waiter was very slow to come and see us, then we ordered the wine and it took them 20 mins to bring it. Were now 40 min at the table just got served our wine. We ordered a steak tartar and the muscles. The tartar had way too much caper juice or vinegar also way too salty. The muscles were good but also too salty. The fries were cold and I sent them back and then they brough bake new fries that were also cold. Our main meal was the bouillabaisse had good flavor but again too salty. Found there wasn't a lot of seafood for the price of $49. I had the beef bourguignon which was described to come on egg noodles. The beef was tinny pieces and was really a pasta with some small pieces of beef. Again was too salty. We went this morning for breakfast and service again was terrible with dirty tables all over the place. They need to know how to staff the restaurant properly and teach the waters how to work properly. Very disappointed as we went there for our 6 year anniversary

We had the most incredible experience thanks to our server, George. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcome and well taken care of. His menu knowledge was impeccable—every recommendation he gave was spot on, making our dining experience even more special. The highlight of the night? George bringing us to the dessert room, which was an absolute dream! He truly went above and beyond to make our Valentine’s celebration unforgettable. His warm personality and top-notch service were the icing on the cake. Honestly, I’d come back just for George! If you’re dining here, ask for him—you won’t be disappointed!

This is a favorite French Restaurant of ours in Toronto and we have been there at least 4 times. Love the atmosphere and service. The Menu is simple and delicious. Portions are not large.

Frenchy Bar et Brasserie is a classic French bistro located within the Hilton Hotel in Toronto. The menu features all the classics like Steak Frites, Boeuf Bourguignon, Duck Confit with a nice selection of appetizers like Coquilles St. Jacques, Escargots and Foie Gras Terrine all accompanied by a fine wine list. Service was attentive. Great date place.

You should put the herbed butter on the steak when the steak is hot so it partially melts My serving of fries were short pieces and ends. Should mix the end of the bin with some longer(new) fries

Went for Winterlicious ($45 for dinner menu). You truly get what you pay for. Unimpressive meals and service, dessert was grocery store quality. Hoping their regular menu lives up to their reputation and price

Winterlicious menu offered great value. Manager Laura was friendly and quick to recognize our special occasion with a delicious drink. Our server George helped rushed out food out so we can make our show. Great ambiance and experience.

Went for the winterlicious. Food is a bit lacking. The french onion soup should have a layer of cheese on top but we didn’t see much cheese. The steak did not have a nice char on the outside. The burger was decent. Dessert is your standard fare - a bit dense on the chocolate mouse. Cheesecake is ok. Would never pay full price for that meal but is tolerable for winterlicious pricing.
