Freya is a multi-course dinner restaurant focused on executing the points of service at upper echelon restaurants in larger markets while ditching the pomp and circumstance traditions that make regular people feel out of place. The last several years have been extremely challenging for most people. We feel strongly that great food, great drinks, and great hospitality are things everyone deserves. Especially you.

We offer a multi course menu and can accommodate the following diets: Omnivore (no dietary restrictions), Pescatarian (vegetarian + seafood), or vegan (no animal products used). With notice, we’re also able to modify many items to be gluten-free. We respectfully ask that further modification requests only be made in cases of serious allergies; we may not be able to accommodate certain dietary restrictions

  • Freya Grand Tasting

    Multiple dates available
    A $155 per person omnivore-only set 9 course dining experience w/quality ingredients grown in and around Detroit. The grand tasting CANNOT be modified to accommodate ANY allergies or restrictions. A typical grand tasting lasts about 3 hrs, depending on party size. Late cancellations/no-shows are devastating; guests must provide at least 48 hrs notice in the case of a cancellation/rescheduling. If a reservation is cancelled under 48 hrs from reservation time, regardleess of the reason for cancelling. The Freya Grand Tasting is currently priced at $155 per person. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your meal may be shortened/canceled. Please don't reserve until you're sure you can come! *12/27 thru 12/31 is 5 courses for $125 per person*

For a Freya reservation, please choose "Freya Dinner Reservation" or "Freya Grand Tasting"* Get into the holiday spirit by drinking holiday spirits! We'll have a selection of xmas-themed cocktails complete with kitchy glassware, holiday decor, a special holiday-focused food menu, and fa la la la lots of tidings and cheer! We respectfully request that in cases when we have reservations booked for the table you're occupying later in the evening, groups limit their dining time- 1.5 hours for groups of two, 2 hours for groups of three or four, and 2.5 hours for larger groups.

    Great food, excellent service. We loved the explanation of the courses as they came to the table as well as the drinks that got explained. My vegetarian friend really appreciated the options they had for her! Overall, a great venue for a work gathering. Which is what we were there for. We had the 5 course menu option and it was a 2.5 hour event. It was the perfect timing for me and my team. Would recommend, and will return in the future.

    Service was excellent, well timed, perfectly executed. It was our anniversary and we received a signed card and a splash of bubbly when we arrived. Food was outstanding and the ambiance was great, not too loud, good music. Highly recommend!

    We love Freya, but for a pre-show quick bite and glass of wine we figured Dragonfly was the spot -- after all, their food comes from Freya's kitchen. Food did not disappoint; the Wagyu Pastrami sandwich, in particular, was to die for. Service was also outstanding. What did disappoint was the wine selection -- just one red, one white and one Prosecco were on offer.

    Incredible meals, excellent service. If you are looking for a unique dinner, this is your spot. I normally enjoy a nice cocktail with my dinner, but I enjoy the N/A drinks here more. The N/A pairings add to an already amazing experience.

    What a fun dining experience! Our party of four ordered an item from each course and shared between couples. Each dish was layered with flavors and were presented beautifully. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient.

    Amazing food and service. Pricey meal for sure, but really excellent, interesting flavors and amazing presentation. Totally recommend it for a special dinner! We got the 5-course with wine paring menu.
