Front Room offers a menu of authentic, home-style Thai cuisine which celebrates the eight distinctive Thai flavors of sour, sweet, nutty, salty, spicy, bitter, astringent and mild.

Menu highlights include Phla Lai Bua Hoy Shell (Seared Hokkaido Scallop with Lotus Stem, Pomelo and Homemade Chili Paste); Talae Gub Sator Kua Sauce Khem (Stir-Fried Squid, Tiger Prawn, Bitter Bean with Salted Seafood Sauce); Nuea Khem Tom Kati (Coconut Broth with Salted Beef Cheek, Shallot and Chili); and Ma Phrao Cheesecake. Plant-based options are also available.

Always met expectations. This is my favorite Thai restaurant when I visit Bangkok. Great discount for Hilton diamond plus credit for in house guest. The staffs always delightful.

Having enjoyed many fine meals in Bangkok, we were quite pleased with the lovely setting, fine service and delicious Thai food at the Front Room. The occasion was my wife's birthday and she was surprised with a delicious Black Forest birthday cake. I think it is fair to say that the prices here are a bit more that many nice Thai restaurants in Bangkok; however, the ambiance and service are at the highest level and well worth the small bit extra. We shall return.

Obviously on a vanity trip when they promote the restaurant as Thai with a Twist. It's over produced fusion Thai. Over priced. And lacks flavour. The menu disappointed as it lacked the traditional Thai dishes and everything was over produced. The three of us felt the food lacked flavour. Disappointing. Fabulous ambience though. But I'd rather pay for good food than fabulous interior design decor and service levels that are a bit too attentive. But then again it is a 5-star place.
