Many years ago I was a hibachi chef. When I came to New York City I found it difficult to find a hibachi restaurant. Surprisingly, I successfully brought hibachi to New Yorkers. Now, New Yorkers have a Japanese steakhouse in the heart of Manhattan where they can enjoy delicious Japanese cuisine hibachi style.

Staff was friendly, typical NY hustle and bustle atmosphere. The chef was so engaging and kind especially to my daughter who is 7. Food was great. I’d go back.

Everyone was so patient and nice although it was very busy, the restaurant was warm which was inviting because is was so cold outside. The food was amazing and the Chief was so entertaining! I would definitely come back here on my next visit to New York.

Was confusing when entering to see a different name on the staff attire, but figured it out. Food was good. Hibachi experience was much shorter than I have experienced other places but it was fun and tasty. Not as entertaining as some but the hibachi grill master did a good job.

It was very crowded with not much room between the tables and I’m not sure they really knew how to accommodate my shellfish allergy. Kind of rundown overall
