In 1974, George and his wife Joan ventured out to what was then considered the country. They found the perfect location on the shores of Diamond Lake. A great deal has changed since then, but our commitment to service and great food hasn’t. We welcome you to visit and see what’s new. It’s the Gale Street you love and remember with a more comfortable and updated atmosphere.     This is our place for special occasions and it never disappoints! The food is always fantastic and we can’t say enough about the staff. They are friendly and attentive and make you feel like they have known you forever.! There are so few places that you actually see management roll up their sleeves and pitch in when things get over-the-top busy! We will return again and again!

    We had a large party for Xmas Eve and were disappointed to be placed in the bar area. The service was slow but considering the day and lack of help we understood. The server was very nice and was doing her best. The area we were placed was cold and lacked ambience. Everyone was quite satisfied with their food which of course was the most important thing.

    warm and inviting staff from the moment you arrive. The menu is a little stale, but the food is well prepared and tasting. Served warm and promptly. A bit on the high-priced side for a neighborhood restaurant wonderful view and cozy interior,

    Marasal Veal Chop as top quality as any chop you’d order in the city. One of our favorite fine dining restaurants in the suburbs!

    We had a very nice evening and fantastic service. The food is always very good. Everyone enjoyed the calamari appetizer and dinners were great - I had the prime rib, and others enjoyed Whitefish, chicken parmigiana and pasta vodka. Desserts topped off the night with pumpkin cheesecake and the flourless chocolate cake. Thank you

    Everything from start to finish was amazing. The food is so fresh and delicious . Soup was to die for. I will be going back there very soon
