    Dined here on the evening of 11/1/24. Not full for a Friday night but that’s ok. We both ordered the pork chops. First of all, a thick cut bone in chop takes time to prepare. They had it out to us in 12 minutes. It was overcooked. Trying to cut it was impossible using a steak knife. Chop topped with two onion rings. There was a cornbread stuffing-too sweet. There was a sauce on the bottom of the plate that was horrible. It tasted like BBQ sauce with too much vinegar. The chop was too salty. We were disappointed. We were here from N.C. and made reservations because of all the great reviews. We told our server we couldn’t eat it. She took the plates away and said she needed to talk it over with her Manager. She came back to the table and said there wouldn’t be a charge for our uneaten meals. I’m disappointed in the Manager. Management never came to talk to us. Managers should always look for ways to improve and feedback. I wasn’t given the opportunity so I had to leave this review. DO Better!

    Menu is great, but some of the flavors were off. Cocktails were excellent. The turtle soup had an unusual flavor. It had a heavy clove like flavor that 2 of the 3 of us did not like. We really liked the seafood stew.

    Cage was an outstanding waiter! Very attentive even though the restaurant was packed! The food was delicious, portions more than ample, and our evening was wonderful. Thank you!

    Least favorite meal in NOLA. Everything was sub par at best . Don’t even want to go into describing each plate ordered as there was nothing good about any of them .

    Our server was Erica and she was absolutely amazing. The food was wonderful and great portions. But Erica made it an over the top experience!

    Our servers Joshua and Erica were outstanding. We had one three course-fried green tomatoes, pork chop (massive), brownie pecan pie, a filet (perfectly cooked and the size of my fist) and the loaded fingerling potatoes. We took what we could not eat home and had a full dinner with the leftovers. The food was 10/10. Excellent dinner here.

    We were in town celebrating a birthday and found this spot after going to Google for dinner ideas within walking distance from the hotel. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with such pleasant attitudes. We had a waiter(I don't recall his name🤦🏾‍♀️) and a waitress (Destiny) who served us and they both were GREAT. What made this experience 10x better is the bartender (Claire) who was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly! I had the Pork Chop (which was PHENOMENAL) and my fiance had the swamp pasta which was also GREAT! To have a staff of people who can make your guests feel important is a rarity these days and if the restaurant was open the following day(Sunday) we would if happily been back. This will DEFINITELY be one of our go to spots from now on.
