   This was our first time at this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing! The restaurant is beautiful, the noise level was low, and the ambience was just right. From the time we got there until we left, service was exceptional and all staff was friendly and accommodating. From the appetizers to the main entrees, even the rolls, were cooked to perfection. We've been to a lot of steakhosues, but this ine is the first where the prime rib was cooked evenly all the way through and was the exact temperature we requested. Garrison Steakhouse is now our #1 steakhouse.

   Food was mediocre at best. Not at all what I expected at the price point. Everything was medium quality frozen/premade food. We dined Valentine’s Day for the prix fixe menu which sounded very good. Our “special” mixed drinks (Pillow Talk-vodka with chambourd and frozen raspberries) were basically a daiquiri with huge chunks of ice. The appetizers-one was low quality, barely any flavor (fried green tomatoes) and the other was very good (burnt ends). After that we should have gotten our salad course. We didn’t. They delivered our entree next and we told them we hadn’t received our salads yet. They took our filets back to the kitchen to sit and brought our salads. I had taken two bites of my salad when they returned with our filet entrees and bumbled around to pull up another 2-top table to place them since there was no room in our tiny table for both salad and steak plates. . The potatoes and asparagus sides were cold and the steaks were lukewarm warm when they arrived. It continued to get colder as we tried to finish the salads. The manager came at the request of the sweet server since she knew what was happening was wrong. The manager offered to send the entrees back when I informed her I would not be eating anything returned from that kitchen (we could see the kitchen staff goofing around). She said she would take care of it. We didn’t eat our entrees and ate the dessert course. When the bill arrived, they took $30 off the total ($75 per person for the meals and $14 per drink-$178 total before tax/gratuity) and she only removed $15 per person of the $75 for an entree we didn’t eat. We brought it home and will warm it in the microwave. They are attempting to be a higher end restaurant for the area, but are desperately missing the target. We won’t ever be back, but hopefully they might see this and try to improve their quality of food and service. I tried something local and made a mistake. I’ll gladly pay more in Nashville for better quality of food and service.

   This is our (wife & I) second time here. First time was really good so we decided to return for Valentine’s Day with my daughter and her husband. They had a set menu with a few choices for each part of the dinner (starter, appetizer, main dish, desert). I ordered the shrimp cocktail along with my wife. Very good. My daughter and her husband ordered the bbq burnt ends. They were extremely tough and hard to chew. I tried a couple Of them and they were like rubber. Disappointing. Appetizers were fine. I had the Caprese salad and so did my wife. They were very good. The kids had the soup (a version of Italian wedding soup) it was good as well. Three of us ordered the Filet Mingon for our main meal. My daughter ordered the chicken fettuccine and the chicken was beyond dry. My wife’s filet was ordered medium and came out close to rare. Had to be re-fired. When it came back it was still slightly medium rare so she ate it anyway because she was hungry. Desert was ok too. Typical crème brullet with fruit. All in all, the experience this time around was just ok. Ambiance and service was good. I’ll be back, but I will order something different.

   We celebrated Valentine’s Day and were impressed with every aspect, from the delectable dishes to the outstanding hospitality. We were thoroughly satisfied.

   They need to invest in some serious exhaust systems as smoke from the casino was everywhere including the lobby and restaurant.
