Booked for lunch before an afternoon in the theatre. Opted for the two dish option at £14.50. I had a terrine starter which was accompanied by a delish chutney. Main courses were well cooked and tasted lovely. Friendly and slick service from the staff

Not great. Went on a Tuesday after bank holiday, so a few of the food items and wine was "sold out", had to return my main course due to the meat being cold. Waiter was though very nice, apologetic and friendly. Overall at best an average pub dining experience, we will not be returning.

Good food at great prices. Good for pre theatre dining. Service was good not to in your face. Would go there again.

Booked at short notice for a pre theatre supper. A pleasant meal without being hurried and finished in good time to get to our seats!

Lovely meals and drinks. Highly recommended! NeXT time we are in Bath we will be back!

We ate late (9pm on a Tuesday) as a family treat : service was friendly and just right, we did not feel rushed despite there only being 2 other people dining. Starter of ciabbatta and dips was shared amongst 4 of us and was tasty. Mains were all well received although daughter not keen on anchovy dressing on Ceasar salad. Dessert was brought along with 4 spoons so we could all share - lavender panna cotta and passion fruit- sublime. Ate here pre theatre as a couple also and would recommend to anyone who enjoys great seasonal food, different beers, friendly service . High class restaurant food without the stuffiness and formality

Very nice restaurant, good food (well prepared and presented) and on Sunday evening there is live music. The choice is not big but for sure it will be fresh. I definitely recommend it!

We dined last night here and the food was brilliant... However we felt that he restaurant was a little cramped, as the tables weren't really big enough and they were very close together as the eating area was too small - as you felt you were in the conversations that were going on, on the other tables. I'm afraid that the service wasn't as brilliant as the food... We were expecting more from this restaurant...

Friendly service great food the goats cheese curd was delicious main of broccoli croquettes very tasty and the fish and chips my husband had delicious. Great food good drinks and nice atmosphere.
