   We come to Gather each time we’re in Maui- we love the catch of the day and unique salad). Loved the persimmons and goat cheese w farro last night!!

   I brought my granddaughter there for her birthday! She picked it! She absolutely loved it and the food! She said Grammy it’s so beautiful here, I want to get married here! She is a local girl here and this could be the place! Her dad’s Grandparents used to own the whole Makena strip at one time way back in the day. So this would be pretty special! Mind you she is turning 7 years old. She loved Shannon, and she was so happy Shannon brought her more cherries. She only likes the juice from them. Thank you for making this a memorable night! She went home and shared w her mom n Dad, she was so happy!!

   Chef Steve does a great job at Gather. Each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. Our hats off to the chef! The service was great. We were celebrating a birthday and really enjoyed ourselves!

   This is a restaurant that survives from its location and panoramic view. The hostess wasn’t friendly, the bathrooms were run down and not clean, the food is overpriced and not as good as the food trucks we’ve visited here. The fish was fresh but for example the noodle dish was literally top ramen no vegetables to speak of, with a pice of Ono on top. The scallop risotto had 3 diver scallops for $59 on mushy basil risotto and all you could taste was basil. The Calamari appetizer hid the calamari to the point where it could have been tofu covered with a tasty spicey sauce. The celery sautéed with the toppings on the calamari app was the best part of the meal. The chocolate cheesecake wasn’t very good either. Overall, overpriced and wish we had splurged somewhere else.

   This was a fantastic dining experience. Collin offered attentive and friendly service, and he recommended dishes that did not disappoint. The fresh catch with miso marinade and noodles was absolutely delicious, and the scallops with crab risotto featured some of the best scallops I have ever tasted. We also had the brussel sprouts as an appetizer, and we absolutely could have made a meal of them. While we indulged in amazing food, we had the opportunity to watch a beautiful sunset over the water. This is a restaurant not to be missed! We already have plans to book another day trip from Oahu just to have dinner here again!

   We ordered an app, a salad & fresh catch of the day to share. Good portion size. Flavors were good but leaned toward salty side for my taste. Service was very attentive. Music (violin) was loud over conservations even though we were sitting outside. With 1 beverage each total check w tips $151. Pricey. Will be back only for special occasions

    Outdoor seating facing the ocean, relaxed atmosphere, great service, excellent food w/ sophisticated flavors - my sister in law had the fish tacos & I had the golden beet poke w/ rice. Roasted Brussels sprouts had a little too much oil for my taste but,again, very nice flavors. Quality experience!
