It was our first visit to Gaucho. Lovely service from the outset from Ana who was also our server. We opted for the bottomless Sunday Roast which seemed to be good value. We also had a starter of bbq corn ribs and yuca chips. My first choice draft beer (Victoria Malaga) was not available so I opted for an alternative. The roast when it arrived was sirloin with roast potatoes, carrot, spinach and a huge Yorkshire pudding with a small gravy pot. Potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding was a bit dry. We had some additional meats (rump and lamb) and vegetables. Overall service from Ana was great but food was ok but not the best compared to other steak restaurants.

If you want to share your next door table with a dog, it's perfect! Dog on the seat eating from the table! Ten years ago dogs were not even allowed inside a food establishment! Amazing how dog's have improved their food hygiene!

We were visiting for Mother’s Day with my wife and son. Our server Mia was excellent, she talked us through the menu and made our experience enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back.

On our 2nd visit to Gaucho we thought we would give it a second chance after a poor food experience on our last but unfortunately the food continued to disappoint. After an initially undercooked steak which we raised promptly with service staff, after it was brought out the steak was very burnt and this affected the taste of the meat. I suspect this is quite a common occurrence with Gaucho due to a sauce they use to coat the steaks which doesn’t fare well with the cooking process causing it to burn easily. Disappointing but wouldn’t go back - particularly for the £250+ we spent for 2 people.

I went to Gaucho with my daughter and son for her birthday, we weren't disappointed. The cocktails were fabulous, and so the meat. We ordered the fillet, blue, and it was so tender it melted in the mouth. Found the chimichurri a bit too oily and garlicy but not to the point of overwhelming the meat flavour. The service was excellent, the atmosphere and décor as expected for a high end restaurant. The live music was too loud for easy conversation but the volume was turned down when I asked. I didn't like the 12.5% gratuity being automatically added to the bill. Overall a great meal but still too pricy.

Ok so our bill was £190. That included starter, steak and 2 drinks for each of 2 people, plus one empanada. Steaks were on the cheaper side, and so were the drinks. You decide yourself if it's worth it. The service was really really lovely, and everyone that works there is super professional. The food was... Honestly not that impressive. Everything we had - we have had a better version of that elsewhere before. For starters we had beef tartare and salmon tartare tacos, and both were not that great. For mains, we had steaks and they were completely unseasoned. I don't know if that's how it is supposed to be but I think it would have been much better if the steaks were at least salted. To be fair, they were cooked great, so that's good. Overall, I don't think I'll be back. I feel like I can get so much more for the same amount of money elsewhere, and tastier.
