Oxford’s iconic glasshouse and stunning terrace remains loyal to its traditions of providing quality food & service in the most beautiful restaurant in Oxford.

Free parking for two hours is available just a short walk away on Canterbury Road and Bevington Road.

Our kitchen features a wood fired oven & charcoal grill, ingredients are simply prepared and expertly cooked. Open every day from 09.00am until 10.30pm serving our all day menu, on Sunday we also offer a roast. Please feel welcome to just drop by for a glass or two in our new secret garden.

Expect a warm welcome and great food served by knowledgeable & friendly waiters.

As always Gees is open throughout December serving our Christmas Party Menu which is available from 20th November to 24th December, and can only be booked in advance for parties of 6+ guests. Our events team will contact you to arrange a pre order.

Really lovely food. Octopus was cooked as well as I’ve ever had and every course was delicious. The location, in an old greenhouse, is lovely too. Great staff. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Lovely setting, but it's very expensive for what it is - the food is good but not amazing.

The ambience here is heavenly. I adore the summer house! The staff were all kind, helpful, and considerate. They let us stay for about an hour chatting after we finished eating! The food was not as good as I'd hoped, though. I guess that's literally a matter of taste, so try it and see if you love it. The Pedro Ximénez sherry was *perfection*.

Wonderful evening celebrating my sons birthday. The conservatory is beautifully lit and welcoming. Food was fantastic and service was impeccable. Thank you for a great evening and for making my sons birthday special!

We went there for a birthday treat and both had lovely meals. There was a good choice of vegan food and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, the leather bench seats most comfortable and the food was presented in a non-fussy way. Thoroughly recommend it.

Very good spot - first went more than 30 years ago. Good menu - lots of choices, even for my coeliac wife.
