Genwa dtla is renowned for its extensive variety of "banchan" Korean side dishes, setting it apart from other Korean BBQ establishments. I was visiting my family from WA State and we were celebrating my brother’s birthday and he said he wanted Korean BBQ. A quick search for LA options and ¡viola! Although about $150 per person, our family of five loved every course! The service was amazing and the food was so good. Highly recommend!

Side dishes are amazingly great. The BBQ beef and pork are delectable. The server is attentive and very kind. She saw my boy sulking and gave him a packet of seaweed to cheer him up.

What you get for your money here makes everything worth it. It’s a beautiful restaurant with impeccable service. The servers are welcoming and warm and eager to make your meal enjoyable. They stay and cook your meets on the grill and help serve all of your food the whole meal. The portions of EVERYTHING are enormous. The meats are 16 oz servings so when you look at the prices keep the portions and service in mind. The appetizers are also extremely generous compared to any restaurant. Everything we had was amazing and we even had two young children in a party of six and they made them feel like they were rock stars in a nice restaurant. We will be back.

Good food!!! And the lady who helped and served us last night was very friendly coz it was our first time to try their M1 menu. The food was actually good for 3 people. My husband and I were happy

すべて美味しかった。お店の方が親切に丁寧に肉を焼いてくれた。にんにくを勧めてくれたり、取り皿を準備してくれたり嬉しかった。残ったマッコリも持ち帰りさせてくれた。楽しい時間でした。
