Gianni's is our favorite restaurant and as usual the food was fantastic. We always get the fried calamari Sicilian Style and they always have a great combination of specials for the week along with their usual menu staples. For the first time that I can remember, our service was below the normal levels. Our waitress was very inattentive, kept forgetting to bring things that we asked for , and it took nearly 45 minutes to get our meal from the time that we ordered it. That part was disappointing, but the food was fantastic as usual.

It was very busy and the service was slow. They were doing the best they could since it was crowded and there were some large groups and a party going on. Nice staff and good food. It was a bit loud.

Consistently good local restaurant with excellent service. Two locations. Outside patio in Kildeer is nice in the summer. Larger dining space in Palatine somewhat less loud for inside dining.
