Nice food, but nothing special. We have expected outstanding food and it was ok. Service was good.

This was my second visit to the restaurant- the first was 2 days after it was open. It’s good to see how busy it was and the staff were excellent especially our waiter. But i was very disappointed in the food- the bruschetta starter was simply tiny chopped tomato on bread… no flavour added at all . I don’t even think there was any salt & pepper! The waiter was happy to replace & apologised but we were hungry so ate it. My main which was parmigiana was delicious but lukewarm.

Service slow toilet facilities very poor. Only disabled toilet downstairs

Our waiter did not pay any attention to us. Both pasta dishes tasted so heavily of salt 1 was almost left full and other wasn’t finished. We were served the bill and were unable to explain how poor the food was. Will not go back or recommend going.

Table booked for 7:15pm, didn’t get our starters until 8:15 and our main 9:15. The excuse was they had a large party in, that came in after us, but the kitchen made us wait and send their food out first. The waiter was very embarrassed by it all so kept offering free rounds of drinks. But it was very poor. Very disappointed, the food was good, but we probably will not return.

Dined with my husband and son while visiting my daughter who’s at uni. Had the lasagna which was delicious. We also had the carbonara, Trofie Al salmone and the pasta special, all really good. Fab bottle of primitivo and my daughter was given a complimentary glass of Prosecco to celebrate her first term at uni. Great service and will be back.

The food was outstanding and good value for money ,, I did find the drinks were over priced but I think that’s just Manchester prices overall,, but I do love a Ginos 👍
