Prepare to be thrilled at this all-star Italian restaurant located off Ocean Highway in Pawleys Island, SC. Gios Italian Kitchen is family owned and operated since August 7th, 2014. Brothers/Chefs Klodjan & Renato Hoxha run the kitchen while the sister/GM Eri handles the front. Parents are also involved in the business operation on a daily basis. The Hoxha family was born in Albania and moved to the United States in 2003, seeking the American dream. The family has 17 years of experience in cooking. Our chefs make all the dishes with the freshest ingredients and highest quality of product. Gios serves the best marinara sauce and some of the tastiest authentic Italian dishes in the Grand Strand. This was our first time dining at Gios. I highly recommend it. The ambience was relaxing and welcoming. Our waitress was attentive and knowlegable about the dishes we asked about. The food was excellent, fresh and hot (not lukewarm)...very delicious. Good bread served when we arrived with delicious olive oil for dipping. Great wine list. Excellent value! We will return.

Food was great. Set up and service was slow. Sat us at a table that was in a high traffic area and was bumped multiple times.

The service and the food was good as usual. My only complaint is the noise level in the main dining room is really loud. It is hard to have a conversation. The tables are very close together. Next time I will ask to be seated in the back dining room. It seems much quieter and the tables are spaced further apart.

The server was very friendly, we remembered her from the last time we ate there. We are both from CT. Food was great my husband and I usually get the same thing. He gets the Parm I get chicken piccata. Our dining mates got the special and they raved highly recommend.

It was a little loud. The food was excellent, except the meatball appetizer had an unusual taste to it not like usual perhaps not met homemade. But we still love this restaurant for consistency and our favorite server is Bethany
