Since 1976 Giovanni's continues to serve Cleveland outstanding Italian cuisine & a unique dining experience. Giovanni's has been awarded the Di Rona, AAA & Wine Spectator Award, Cleveland Magazine "Silver Spoon" Award (Best Italian Restaurant & Best Italian Restaurant in Northern Ohio) several times over the years. The wine cellar, classified as one of the country's finest with over 800 selections, earned Wine Spectator's Grand Award.
Giovanni's recent renovation brings the atmosphere more in tune to today's feelings. The Picasso Room with wood paneling, distinctive artwork, fireplace & elegant French doors, seating up to 30, is ideal for corporate & social functions.
The imaginative cuisine offers surprising variations of classic recipes including handmade pastas, seafood, veal, lamb, beef & game. Elegance & first class service are an experience not to be missed. The more casual lounge & bar areas are excellent alternatives serving the same menu as the main dining room.

    Food, service and Ambiance were outstanding! A little pricey but really good food. I would ask the bartender about the drink ingredients if curious because the drink I had Cappuccino Martini did not have Zabaglione, Savoiardi or cinnamon dust in it as it says on the menu. However, the drink was really good!

    Old school vibe … in a good way… with couples and families dining in an upscale restaurant without seeming stuffy. Food and cocktails were very good and served with an accommodating attitude.

    First time dining here and I would definitely dine again. Ambience was very nice. Calamari was delicious, the cauliflower side that came with our steak was delicious and our server was excellent!

    Always a delightful dining experience. Service is impeccable. Very romantic setting. An occasion to dress up.

    We love Giovanni’s, it’s our special event dinner spot for us or a decadent lunch. We enjoy all the food in the menu and often hit the special offerings. I like the wine and bar list in particular, they don’t skimp and I’m very happy with the wide variety of choices.

    We were very impressed with the service and the food. Extremely friendly staff and were welcomed many times by management there. The food was delightful as the flavors really collided.

    Giovanni's does not disappoint! Service is always great and the food is even better. The dining room is beautiful. The bar is great people watching. Is a wonderful dining experience. They will accommodate your meal preferences, which is very nice. I definitely recommend.

    Giovanni's has always been my go to place for a special occasion, but I think Saturday night will be the last time we go. The prices have gotten absolutely ridiculous and the service has gone down hill as well so the combination makes it no longer worth it. First off, we adhere to the dress code when we go, I wore a dress and my husband and son wore suit coats, the woman in my direct sight line was wearing a hooded sports sweatshirt. If you have a dress code, why isn't it enforced. Also, the tables are so crammed in that you can't even exit the room to go to the bathroom. The food was mediocre at best, a $20 salad was unimaginative and thrown on the plate, the bread wasn't fully baked and the $55 entree's were nothing special. I have had the Halibut there before and it was outstanding, this time it was just OK, I ended up taking half of it home with me. $400 for dinner for three needs to be a special night out and unfortunately Giovanni's missed the mark big time on Saturday night.
