Food was delicious, along with the wine and cocktails ordered. We sampled the menu extensively. Everything was enjoyable. Ren was our server, she was efficient and managed our large party well (group of 7), and it was great to see good team work with the manager, Darryl, who was helping his team. Darryl checked on our table too, took our additional orders and was able to secure our table request for our group (called ahead). Thank you for another incredible evening, our group had an awesome evening celebrating a birthday at a great spot downtown!

It was a quiet, pleasant dining experience: amazing chefs, staff, and great food. I recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely fine dining experience in Norfolk.

Grilled Octopus, wild mushroom risotto!! Just excellent and they have a really nice wine list.

Service was good,don’t remember are server I’m sorry she was helpful with our orders. Had the Quail and duck confit. Very good the flavors were delicious!

Nice vibe. Good food. Nice art. Valet should be outside though. You have to park in a no parking zone, walk in to give the counter your keys, and hope they move it in time before getting ticketed.

Our favorite restaurant whenever we are in Norfolk. Excellent food and presentation every time; great room where you can still enjoy table conversation; top notch service.

We were lucky enough to get a table during the Grand Illumination and the food absolutely matched the beauty of the parade. Every bite of our meal from the pumpkin soup (that has the most amazing homemade croutons!) to the tuna tartare that was just melt-in-the-mouth delicious and the delicious scallops…every single bite was just amazing. I’m absolutely going to come back because I saw someone else get the GL burger and I NEED to try it! Looked amazing! Our server Christa was absolutely amazing. Extremely attentive but without being overbearing. Our drinks were always tended to and she was very knowledgeable about the dishes we were eating. The whole experience was just delightful from beginning to end.

I want to start it by saying the food was fantastic. The executive chef from Zimbabwe knows exactly what he is doing. The seafood pasta was a perfect al dente with a perfect sauce to pasta ratio. The duck confit was crispy, juicy and not over cooked and the potatoes and cabbage was absolutely delicious. The staff is very particular about presentation. The oysters and crispy octopus appetizers were a win. The server Joanne was very professional.

The service was awful! Great food and wine selection, but the service was very lacking as if no one was trained for a fine dining experience.

Vegetarian had several choices, and server was helpful pointing out choices. Meat eater found something he loves that is rarely on the menu. Original menu choices. Delicious food. Hostess and server were friendly. Other staff were unobtrusive. Diverse group of diners from young to older adults. Dress was casual (jeans) to dressed up (suits/blazers). Glass gallery makes this a unique and unforgettable restaurant.
