    A lovely setting, with mountain ranges, rolling paddocks and big sky. The restaurant itself clearly architecturally designed with not only "spirit of place" but best use of light and space. Plenty of tables but no feeling of diners being on top of each other. Service was friendly, polite, prompt, and efficient. Just the right balance of being attentive and not intrusive. Staff obviously know what they're doing and just get on with it calmly. Excellent range of dishes to choose from, with no cliché or boring choices for GF dining. Also, the presentation highlighted the textures & flavours of the ingredients without being pretentious. I can list our choices of "wagyu beef", "pan fried barramundi", "green beans & almonds", "cos salad", & "crispy potatoes". I can't really describe how the feta, dill, pickled radish, zucchini, hollandaise, etc each interacted subtly and perfectly. Not to be missed. First time I've ever actually liked hollandaise (served to the side, not drowning the barra). Many excellent wines to choose from, including Goonoo Goonoo Station's own sauvignon blanc. The dark choc & raspberry for dessert came with a special personal touch and the cappuccino was tops. Will have to come back another time for a cocktail...they looked great. ABSOLUTELY WORTH A FIVE HOUR ROUND TRIP TO EXPERIENCE!!!

    The food was excellent. The flavours and quality of products ensured sensational dishes. The prawn bisque was addictive and I just wanted more and more. The wine list was varied and quality. The service was professional and engaging and the atmosphere added to a special evening. The only slight improvement (and it’s only a very Minor issue) would be if the serving staff were a little bit more knowledgable on the particular wines on the list This was an excellent experience

    Staff were very helpful, attentive and relaxed, beautiful day, we were seated in a beautiful spot over looking the property, sneaky ale beer was delicious, food was amazing and cooked perfectly, couldn’t fault anything. 5 out of 5. Thank you for a lovely experience

    We dined with two our good friends who both enjoyed their meals as did my husband and I. He started with the glazed Angus oxtail skewer with white garlic puree, Marissa and shallot whilst I had the handmade prawn agnalotti with prawn and chive bisque. For mains we enjoyed the slow cooked Angus Tri Tip. The restaurant was quiet on a Thursday night but was a pleasant atmosphere. The evening was lovely and we started off with some drinks on the terrace. The outlook from the terrace and from our table in the restaurant with views over the Station and its paddocks stunning. Until next time Goonoo Goonoo Station.
