Received excellent service from Kanani who clearly explained the menu and even told us the story of why the restaurant is called Goen. As per usual our dishes were excellent!

Another good dining experience for birthday/Valentines dinner. Had the brussels & cauliflower appetizer and truffle gnocchi w/ shrimp and the marinara/alfredo "winter special" entrees - both very flavorful. Finished the meal with basque cheesecake. Our server Amalie (sp?) was spot on all evening!

The food was amazing! Music was a little loud for the beginning of our meal, but noise level decreased as night went on. Our server was great, food was fantastic and drinks were delicious. Thank you for getting our note about the birthday! We enjoyed it and look forward to coming back!

The live entertainment was wonderful and relaxing. It really complimented the dining experience.

We were met by your wonderful host Giseppi He welcomed us in, polite, professional and a wonderful smile. Do you know how rare that is these days? Just that alone set us up for a wonderful dinner! Food was wonderful. The reason for a 4 star rating? The server kept interrupting our bottle of wine and appetizers wanting our order, telling us the kitchen was going to get busy. No need. I go to dinner to relax, eat a nice meal and spend a bit of time with dear friends. Our resy was 5:45 and we left at 7:15. The best part was getting to talk to Giseppi on our way out.

It was just ok. Nothing special about the menu. We had the fried mushrooms and pork belly as appetizers. Then the butterfish and fish and chips. The taste was very average.
