Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. In a nod to the founders’ French roots, variations of the iconic Frites are the signature of the restaurant, which are hand-cut and twice-cooked, in either beef dripping or vegetable oil.

The design of the space is centred on the expertise of wood-fired cooking, with kitchen counter seating to create a dramatic dining experience for guests. The interiors are cosy, with contemporary decoration, terracotta warm tones and a groovy musical atmosphere. Goldies features a noteworthy terrace that fits 30 guests.

Third visit to Goldies but this time for lunch. Great atmosphere and laid back vibe. The food just gets better and better. I recommend the corn with the most amazing butter, the delica pumpkin and the chicken. The chips and dips were amazing. Staff were excellent as usual. Can totally recommend.

We were given a terrible table by the door with a giant pot plant me that was very much in the way. Touching my head. So we moved ourselves. The next people had the same problem. It was ridiculous. Servers were very slow to remove used plates. Disabled toilet was full of cleaning materials and empty cocktail kegs. Very unprofessional. Also not very clean. It felt like a store cupboard not a disabled facility. Poor.

Food was delicious, lovely atmosphere & lovely staff. Genuinely still thinking about the bbq corn.

Another excellent meal at Goldies. Delicious food, great cocktails and excellent service.

We were not told at the time of booking or when we arrived at the restaurant that the table was available for only 1.5 hours. We got asked to leave after 1 hr 40 minutes and I made the point that at no point had we been informed that there was a time limit - we had assumed 2 hours as most of the restaurants I go to seem to have a 2 hour dining window. To be fair the restaurant offered us space in the courtyard (cold) and complimentary drinks to compensate for having to move us but it was an uncomfortable few minutes while we made the point that we were unaware of the time limit. However it left us feeling a little displeased as we had really enjoyed the food and ambiance.

Excellent food but service wasn't great - felt rushed constantly and the upselling just became annoying as the evening went on. At the end we were basically told we had ran out of time and needed to finish up abruptly, which wasn't great I understand the need to turn tables over but it detracted from the experience.

Elli our server was so good! Great place. Food and atmosphere was absolutely brilliant

Tables were very close together. One toilet. Terrible music. Nice Bread. Not worth the hype. Steaks were over seasoned.

Quiet enough at 5 pm for conversation. Food delivered very quickly and well presented and tastes were good particularly the pork and the beef. Tables for two alongside each other a little too close together. Worth revisiting. Good vale for money - not a thing you can often say in London.
