   Excellent food but service wasn't great - felt rushed constantly and the upselling just became annoying as the evening went on. At the end we were basically told we had ran out of time and needed to finish up abruptly, which wasn't great I understand the need to turn tables over but it detracted from the experience.

   Tables were very close together. One toilet. Terrible music. Nice Bread. Not worth the hype. Steaks were over seasoned.

   Quiet enough at 5 pm for conversation. Food delivered very quickly and well presented and tastes were good particularly the pork and the beef. Tables for two alongside each other a little too close together. Worth revisiting. Good vale for money - not a thing you can often say in London.

   Really good experience overall. Great service, everyone including kitchen was very attentive. Food tasted great and unique. Will definitely be coming again. Shout out to the Filipina who served us though everyone was really nice and treated us well.1

   Excellent food and value for money in a lively area. Experience was unfortunately soured by a chokingly smokey restaurant that was overwhelming at times and left all our clothes reeking of smoke afterwards 😶‍🌫️ Disappointing that a few key menu items weren’t available like the challah bread and prawn skewers 😕

    Brilliant. It's such a delightful experience. Goldies has a lovely uncomplicated vibe - the cool decor, unpretentious and easy...no ceremony, just relax and enjoy. The front of house staff guarantee it. The menu jigsaws together beautifully - unified by the philosophy of 'fired' over that hot coals on the beautifully charcoal grill, or 'fried'...like those epic dedicated vats for the 'chips'...actually fries, of course, with those little pots of deeply enriching dips that makes them sing - try Smaurai for chilli zip, or something smoother and cooler perhaps. The skewers are insanely delicious- chicken or lamb...super tasty. The great magic trick lies in their use of all those spices, the wide array of complex sauces, falvour boosting layers are built: several forms of onions are caramelised or pickled, sliced and layered onto the dishes... bursting with additions of mint, creamy, fruity or little spice touches. Each dish a cacophony of thoughtful interactions. The savoury low notes abound while the acidity delivers the sharper high tones. There a sense of variety unified by clever design...it all works. The charcoal grilled chicken is fabulous, the steak medium rare and lathered in an unctuous jus... You simply can not order badly - any combination will delight and uplift. It's a magical little venue. A new fav. Value for money is incredible ...I thought my bill could have, easily, been 25 quid higher! Epic stuff. Thanks Goldies.
