   I can’t say enough about our experience at Gonzo!!!Our party of 3 became a party of 4 at the last minute and the staff was so quick to accommodate, which we really appreciated. The staff was just wonderful overall!! From recommendations to portion sizes and explanations of different dishes we were eager to try, 10/10 hospitality. The food was out of this world. We went in blind and everything we selected was so unbelievably flavourful, the timing was perfect, and the presentation was delightful. Considering the amount of variety and the number of dishes we ordered between 4 people, our total ended up being about $45 a head before tax and tip which was beyond reasonable (we were not drinking but their house special was $9.00 pints of Asahi which isn’t bad!) Thank you to all the servers who made our night memorable and the back of house staff who made a wicked meal. Can’t wait to come back.

   Food was delivered very fast, everything tasted great, Amazing place to have a dinner with friends. Standard service, nothing special. Good overall, would recommend.

   Me and my boyfriend go to spot. I crave this place every once in a while. It feels so authentic and food is to die for.

   This place is incredible!!! I literally can’t get enough :) It’s so homey and the food is to die for!! Perfect for a quick dinner with friends or even date night - my girlfriend and I love it here and I know you will too!!

   Food and price is fair. Service needs to be improved. We were told that we will have 2 hrs dinner time, around 1 hours and 30 mins but they wants to get one of our tables to the next group even we didn’t pay and finish our meals. We are very disappointed since we came here to celebrate Christmas.

    We had a fantastic night here! The staff were very accommodating of our large group. They recommended taking over the ordering for us and did an amazing job on the menu (also much less stressful for everyone than trying to organize 12 people’s small plates orders!) A proper izakaya experience and everything was delicious. Would go back any day :)
