Jim Goode's love of seafood was born from a childhood spent along the sun-soaked Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast. It was this love for coastal dishes, Cajun flavors and time spent together that Jim passed down to his own kids - and to the plates still on our menu today.

Fresh food speaks for itself - so we don't send ours swimming in heavy sauces. Instead, our daily Gulf catch is grilled over mesquite or lightly battered and fried golden. It's this tasteful preparation that leads to mouthwatering plates worth diving into.

Piled high with shrimp and crab meat, our famous Campechana gets its kick from a special blend of pico de gallo, fire-roasted Anaheim peppers and diced avocadoes. Pair it with tortilla chips or saltines and wash it all down with a cold one. Specialty cocktails, beer and wine served daily. Times and offerings vary by location.

    Thank you for turning down the music sound level. Initially the sound was too loud. And thank you for crediting me the smoked red fish dip, as we did not enjoy it. Next time I’ll get the lump crab cakes. Love the fried shrimp at Goode

    My favorite seafood restaurant in Houston! We were there early, so it was quiet, but it was more crowded by the time we left. Our server was very friendly.

    It was honestly a terrible experience. Waiter was slow, spilled beer on my purse, crab cake full of bones and the steak was so dry. Bartender poured drinks half full. We complained and the manager agreed they were. It correct. Will not be back.

    Unfortunately, this restaurant has gone downhill over the years. The food you get for the amount of money that you spend now doesn't compare to how it use to be. Quality has decreased. Sad. Plus they crammed seven people into a table for six, which created a cramped eating experience. If I wanted that, I would have made a meal reservation on an airplane. Also the ambiance in this new site doesn't hold a candle to what the old one was. I've been coming to Goode Company Seafood for quite a few years, but I doubt I'll be back now.

    Food was great as usual. However, the place was really busy & our waiter seemed to have too many tables. Took forever to get drinks as well as the check. I think he was overwhelmed. One of the managers came to him several times trying to help him.
