Jim Goode's love of seafood was born from a childhood spent along the sun-soaked Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast. It was this love for coastal dishes, Cajun flavors and time spent together that Jim passed down to his own kids - and to the plates still on our menu today.

Fresh food speaks for itself - so we don't send ours swimming in heavy sauces. Instead, our daily Gulf catch is grilled over mesquite or lightly battered and fried golden. It's this tasteful preparation that leads to mouthwatering plates worth diving into.

Piled high with shrimp and crab meat, our famous Campechana gets its kick from a special blend of pico de gallo, fire-roasted Anaheim peppers and diced avocadoes. Pair it with tortilla chips or saltines and wash it all down with a cold one. Specialty cocktails, beer and wine served daily. Times and offerings vary by location.

The restrooms were very dirty, the floor in the dining area next to the bar needed to be swept (we were there early in dinner service). No silverware on our table - I had to get some off the bar. Food was good as always but the experience was not as good as usual.

Really delicious dinner tonight! Mesquite grilled fish is savagely delicious! Capped off with Margarita Pie (key lime with a shot of Margarita on the side).

We are regulars at Goode and Co Seafood. We were celebrating a big Birthday and our food was all delicious! Seafood Campachena to start was great as always. Then we had the Mesquite Snapper, a bowl of gumbo and one in our party had a Shrimp Poorboy. All were perfect! Our only complaint: We enjoyed our Vodka Martinis that were charged at $18 each! To us, this was exorbitant! This is Houston, not Manhattan! Lesson learned. We will never order Martinis again at Goode and Co Seafood! The meals are terrific! Bar prices not good!

We enjoyed our dual birthday celebration. Mix up with one entree. Offered to make correct meal but it wasn’t that different. Drinks were slow because ticket system was down. It was very kind for the complimentary birthday desserts. Waiter was very friendly

The food is superb. We were there on our weekend evening and it was crowded and noisy, but that’s what you get for a extremely popular venue.
