   We keep trying this place thinking they will improve but the chef doesn’t have the mastery to properly cook the steaks. $90 Wagyu to have one raw in the middle and the other over cooked. It’s the one thing they should be able to get right.

We strive each and every night to create a great experience for our guests. At anytime there is an opportunity for improvement that the guest brings to our attention, we address it immediately. We were unaware of circumstances during your dinner as we checked on your enjoyment throughout the evening and nothing was brought to our attention.    The idea of a relatively new steakhouse brought six of us together for a holiday meal here. Bad news first. It was really empty and the vibe is confusing. Booths by the bathrooms and elevator in the middle of the building. Crowded tables small chairs and yet an attempt to have a steakhouse air just didn’t jive. Service was adequate but if they’re trying to be a high end steakhouse (as the prices indicate) more is needed in terms of service e and ambiance. Be sure to ask explain or have explained clearly how you want your step prepared. It took some inquiry to get it right and our server was unclear. Juts needs some training. On the other hand if they are trying to be a modern casual but expensive place then they need to lean into that vide. T They haven’t defined themselves which makes for a clunky experience and really risks their future. Good news Food (appetizers, sides, mains, desserts) and drinks were great and we enjoyed having the entire place virtually to ourselves. The building is beautiful and can be so good. We would go one more time in hope it will be more on point or at least have a point.

As far as the physicality of the restaurant, we have done our very best within the confides and restrictions of a small historic building.    The host was welcoming and took good care of us, making sure we were at the table that best suited our needs for quiet conversation. He even offered to turn down the music a little. The food was delicious and we opted to share many of the starter dishes. I will definitely go back

   Due to the cost of real Estate around the square you pay a premium for food. Goodnights was worth every penny. The food was excellent and the service was great! We enjoyed our experience and will be making it a regular date night spot.

   This is a very high end steakhouse, with some differences to be prepared for — they let the meat rest for 15 minutes after cooking it — which makes it perfect to order, and juicy, but it also arrives to the table almost cold. Personally, I prefer a hot meal. The mushroom small plate and butternut squash soup were amazing, but the little gem salad was served over puréed avocado which made it all a bit soggy. The custom cocktails and wine were fabulous, as were the sauces and salts that were served with the steaks.
