   Not impressed ….. I was expected to be wowed….steak temps were off….. Average service. Relly nothing special about the experience…..I’ve been to many fine dining steak restaurants …this was average at best!!

   This was our second time dining here. The first time was great. This time around our entrees were notably sub par when compared to our first visit or to other high end steak houses. Considering the price point, I cannot recommend in good faith. You can get a better meal for the same price or less elsewhere.

   Anniversary RUINED. First off I have been here a few times and since my last visit the prices went up about 20% but the quality went down about 100%!! My wife got the famous wellington which came out nearly Well Done and looked like somoeone had crushed it with their hands or something. The crust was not flaky and the dish was room temp at best. I got the "special" prime rib which came out DRY AS A BONE and GREY! I ordered Medium since I got an end cut. Also ordered the brussle sprouts app, first time it came out cold with no blue cheese on it, the 2nd time it came out cold again but propperly cheesed. This was the last time I will be back, Old Homestead for me from now on! Gordon would be DISGUSTED!

   It is a nice restaurant but it is to dark. You need a flashlight to look at the menu. I bought the American Wague steak and it had very little flavor at $119.00

   Lobster Mac and cheese was some of the best we ever had. Steaks were just ok - we had a NU strip, prime rib, filet and a ribeye so we tried a good variety. 2 of the 4 came out overdone - ordered medium rare and they were medium to well. They got sent back. The prime rib was also tough and dry - definitely don't recommend it and really should have sent it back too. Our waitress was lovely - tried to make everything right but just too many misses on the main course for me. They did make a nice evening for our daughter and her birthday but I wouldn't run back at these prices for the quality of the steak. $620 before tip with no one drinking alcohol.

   Steak was not good, very chewy. Lamb chops unseasoned. Appetizers were great, fingering potatoes great and sticky toffee pikas excellent. Disappointed overall since I came for the steak.

   On arrival we were once again greeted warmly and seated right away. Our waiter Gary was wonderful, attentive and never intrusive. Food from appetizers of Caesars salad, which was huge, as well as the pork belly were excellent. We both ordered the Beef Wellington and these entrees were simply cooked to perfection, garnishes and sides were also done wonderfully well. Everything was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and on point. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will look forward to returning! They certainly made my Birthday experience a memorable one which I appreciated!

    We have been to Gordon Ramsay Steak - Harrah's Atlantic City several times. You expect high quality from a upscale dinning establishment. Usually it is very good. However this last visit was unsatisfactory and I have to rate it poorly. We have ordered the prime rib in the past and it has been very good. However this visit it was very disappointing for the $90 per plate charged. Lots of fat, smaller than usual portion and not a good cut of meat. I have to wonder if the chef in charge is doing quality checks. Last year we also experienced a problem during one of our visits. It seems to be a hit or miss situation.
