   Food, drinks and service were all excellent. One of my favorite places. Will definitely return.

   Great food and great service! Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Fun and modern atmosphere adjacent to the Gordon Hotel.

   We made reservations for six people to celebrate a birthday. Our table was ready and in a quieter section of the restaurant. We were early and our server was not on shift so someone else kindly took our order for drinks. The menu selection was varied, providing something for everyone. Our server was really great and attentive. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. This was a very pleasant experience and we already look forward to returning.

   Dinner was very well prepared. However, we ordered an appetizer that came right after we were served the main course. The restaurant was crowded, so I am sure the kitchen was slammed, but we still should have received our appetizer a lot sooner. Otherwise, all was good.

   First time dining here, I had the wahoo fish with coconut rice and it was marvelous! Service was excellent. Every staff member was friendly. Great atmosphere. Pricing was appropriate.

   The food was delicious and our server was wonderful. Unfortunately, we came on a night when there was a show happening across the street and it seems they seated more patrons in a short time period than their kitchen could keep up with. We ended up waiting a full hour for our food and had 5 minutes to eat before rushing to the show. We only left an hour and a half window so that was partly our mistake, but the restaurant should also moderate the number of reservations they take or limit walk-in seating to avoid this type of jam-up. I’ve worked the host position at multiple restaurants and know how tricky this pacing can be. It ends up being a loss to the restaurant when they comp bills and lose return customers— and the whole staff ends up stressed, too. Better to just turn some customers away once at the kitchen’s capacity. They were generous and cut our bill down by half although we had not asked them to and wouldn’t have expected that. We’ll definitely come back, but will make sure to leave 2-2.5 hours if coming before a show.

   Our server was great, but the menu is very limited and the time from ordering to getting our food was far too long.

   We had 3 of the Happy Hour plates and they were absolutely delicious. Large servings and very reasonably priced. Quick service and very pleasant staff. Drinks were well priced and a good selection. A great place to go before seeing a performance at the Hult center!

   We had a great evening at the Gordon Tavern. Our Server was friendly, pleasant and helpful. The shrimp Bucatini pasta was a unique offering and delicious. The pork chop was perfectly prepared, very tender and also delicious. Dinner was reasonably priced. We plan to return soon to try more of the menu.
