As always had a very pleasant meal here last night. Lovely casual dining with friendly staff. Atmosphere is great as well. Food is fine. It’s not trying to be cutting edge just tasty bistro style food. Maybe portions could be a bit more generous but I know margins are very tight these days. Will definitely be returning soon.

The food was gorgeous. The menu has changed so we found it harder to make our choices. Staff were lovely but forgot our water for the table so we asked again. The restaurant wasn’t that busy for a Saturday night and lacked ambience. The noise level was very high so we found it hard to hear each other. Atmosphere needs to be improved and noise level reduced.

We were a group of 13 and booked at short notice for a 1 o'clock visit. We were assigned an area to ourselves and received excellent service. From the 3 different menu's available we ordered a wide range of dishes, some from the daily specials, some from the Christmas Set Menu and some from the standard menu. Everybody was happy with their meals as served by very helpful staff. Prices were reasonable and everyone was happy.

What a fabulous place to eat. The whole decor of the restaurant is beautiful. The food was amazing and the staff were amazing. So overall an amazing experience.

Plus Beetroot and goat's cheese salad was fantastic The service was excellent - very attentive and very friendly Minus The chicken in the caesar salad was tough (it seemed to have been pre-cooked) Charged 2.75 for two slices of poor quality bread and poor quality butter I have eaten here before and had a very positive experience. Despite the minuses, I highly recommend GFP and I will be back

I really enjoyed my evening in this restaurant. Food was delicious, I had the burger and it was the nicest one I've had in a long time. Service was excellent and staff were all so efficient and friendly. We were made feel so welcome from the time we git there. Food very reasonable and well presented. I will definitely be back again.

Never been here before but will definitely be back. Food was delicious! Our fish meals were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! Service was really good too

We visited this restaurant as steak connoisseurs, drawn by its promising reviews. Our meal started on a high note with delicious meatballs and flavorful chicken wings, which set our expectations for the evening. My striploin was good but not exceptional, lacking basting and color; salt and pepper helped improve it. Unfortunately, my wife’s steak was very tough and consisted mostly of sinew. To their credit, the restaurant handled the issue graciously, replacing it with a lamb dish. While the portion was a bit small, it was tasty and well-prepared. Perhaps we were just unlucky, as the dishes we saw coming from the kitchen looked scrumptious and beautifully presented. The service was attentive, but the experience was slightly marred by our cramped table for two, positioned uncomfortably close to a loud four-seater—not ideal for an anniversary celebration.
