Gourmet Food Parlour Dunshaughlin recently won the OpenTable Diner's Choice Award. The 70 seater restaurant can be found at Fingal Court, just off Dunshauglin’s Main Street. Centrally located to allow easy access for customers, the restaurant is located on the second floor with lift and stair access. The restaurant overlooks Main Street and includes a stylish cocktail lounge, for drinks to be enjoyed before or after eating.

The restaurant has been meticulously decorated in an elevated Gourmet Food Parlour aesthetic. The restaurant will be open 7 days a week, from 9am-5pm Monday and Tuesday, 9am – 9pm Wednesday to Sunday.

Had a lovely evening here with 5 lady friends 4 days before Christmas . Gorgeous food, great service with a lovely atmosphere. Would recommend GFP ❤️

Staff were so nice and service was fantastic. Food was lovely and wine was really good.

Disappointed with the service, no offer to see a dessert menu and unable to get the attention of any staff to ask for a menu. Eventually got the attention of someone and decided to ask for the bill instead, this was dropped to the table. We had another long wait for a card machine, which we had to remind staff to get. No one checked in during the meal, couldn’t get the attention of anyone for a refill of water or other drinks.

Whoever the lovely man was today who served our table he is an absolute gem! He brought my little girl blueberries for her drink when he overheard her say she would love some he was just so sweet and attentive ! She also hurt her finger on the door and he helped when we were leaving and was just so kind 🩷🩷🩷

Had a lovely lunch today at GFP. Christmas decorations were very welcoming creating a cosy ambience. I had the Superfood Wrap with fries and my friend had the Christmas Sandwich also with fries. They were both very tasty and the service was so efficient and friendly! Looking forward to more visits over the Christmas period!

Everything was great except the portion size. I’m not a big eater & usually find that starter, main course & desert are just too much so usually 2 courses is enough. Ordered the lamb. It was described as coming with creamed potatoes and vegetables. Whilst it was presented well and tasted lovely, it was way too small. It looked like a mini island of food lost in the middle of a dinner plate. Even some additional vegetables to help part fill the plate would have been appreciated. Once it landed it was too late to order any Additional side dishes which would have taken longer to prepare than the few minutes required to eat what was presented. Cost was €24. I followed it with coffee & desert. I went out for dinner but actually had to make a sandwich when I got home. As I say, I’m not a big eater although I’m a regular restaurant goer & I’ve never complained about online before and I’ve never gone home & had to make something to eat after having been out for dinner. I hope this feedback is taken constructively as it is intended.
