We had a Thanksgiving reservation, told to take a seat in the hotel before being seated. Close to 10 minutes later we were seated, it wasn't very busy, most people were eating or near done. Server came over, we ordered and didn't see her again until we flagged her down for bread and cranberry sauce after our meals arrived 20 minutes before, and later for our check. They had plenty of support staff but even with numbered tables we watched blunder after blunder of food service. No one ever asked us how our food was. Shrimp cocktail was fine and salad was good. Never got bread until almost after dinner and it was stale, possibly recycled, as I looked around, no one was eating their rolls. Our dinner was between lukewarm and cold. No cranberry sauce or bread as explained earlier, we had to ask for it. Finished our cold food and sat for nearly 30 minutes when we finally had our plates cleared. Flagged down our server, asked for our desserts to go and our check. Got our check. Waited over 15 minutes for dessert. Dessert arrived I had left to go to the restroom, when I came back my husband said "Let's go." Walked out, my husband looked in the bag and there was not 2, but 1 dessert. He went back in, asked the server/host for our other dessert, then I waited 20 minutes, in the meantime, my husband left to get our vehicle. The host/server saw me still waiting and said one minute. Finally a manager (?) came back after he'd been sauntering around the lobby and going outside, he asked me what I needed. I told him that someone was supposed to be getting our missing dessert. I went on to tell him about how long the meal was dragged out and he pretty much shushed me and blamed being short staffed on the weather, no apology. They were getting so full at that point, everyone arriving was doomed to bad service. They booked the reservations, knew what to expect, and never apologized for our bad experience. Yes, there was a snowstorm but that is not an excuse. We will not return.
