   First and foremost the waiter we had was absolutely amazing, he was attentive and very present during our dining. The food was good also especially our appetizers BUT my burger was pink and inedible so that was a downside and my stomach cramped right away from biting pink meat.

   We celebrated 2 birthdays and Brunch, the food was amazing and the Carmel rolls are out of this world. Our waitress was also the bartender and she didn’t miss a beat! Great restaurant!

   Made reservations for three for Valentine's Day. Responding to a direct marketing text to me as a rewards member. My wife, son and I were seated in the "back" room. Very chilly temperature. Felt like the "kid's section" of the restaurant, or a place that was added on to the restaurant for small banquets. Not the nicest part of the restaurant, and with reservations, not where I would have expected to be seated. Service was quick. Our server was obviously busy with the large Valentine's Day crowd and Valentine's special that the restaurant was having. Nonetheless, he was quick and attentive. Then, the super long wait to get our appetizers. When served, barely warm. Obviously sitting somewhere for a while before being brought out. Then, another very long wait before the food came out. Food was good, but the presentation appeared like it was thrown hastily onto the plates. My son ordered a blue cheese burger, and I ordered the Millionaire's burger. There was no difference between the burgers, and no blue cheese on my son's burger. We had been waiting so long that we did not complain. The manager was nice and comped one of our drinks because they ran out of potatoes, and had to substitute fries for my son. Overall, my take on it was that if the restaurant is going to have a Valentine's Day special where they know it will draw a large crowd, then staff the restaurant accordingly, so that people are not waiting so long to be served, and receiving food that's been ready and sitting out for a while. Also, customers who think ahead and make reservations should not be seated in the back "overflow" room like cattle. Put the "walk-in" people who didn't bother to make reservations back there. I also am a rewards member, but I was not even asked about that. Regular customers should enjoy the benefits of loyalty. Clearly, the rewards card is nothing but a money making venture, and has little to do with loyalty. Will probably be back, but not when there is a special.

   We have eaten here several times and valentines night turned out to be horrible. It took us 1 1/2 hours to get our meal. We ordered the Valentines special so each course was separate. We received the appetizer together, there was 4 of us, but the next course 2 received their soups and 20 minutes later the other two came out. Then it took another 20 minutes for them to take our entree order and at least 20 minutes before that came out with the food warm at best. We discussed this all with the manager and he took off the price of one meal which is appreciated but when we asked for our check there was confusion again where the waitress said the manager was going to bring us the check and 20 minutes later I walked up to the manager at the front door and asked him about getting our check he dismissed me to tell me he had to greet the people coming in. So all in all we were not happy this time and if this is the service we get the next we go there it will be our last.

   They expanded seating for Valentine Day so the tables were closer together than usual. Not very private. The food and service was excellent.

   Only problem we had was the bar was backed up. We got our first round of drinks right away. We wanted our next round with supper and we were done for 10 minutes before they showed, the manager took care of it and all was good. It was Valentins so it was busy. Will not stop us from going back. Thanks Granit City. See you next time.

    The service was the best part - but for some reason it felt like anywhere seated was under a heat lamp, it was so warm. Food was OK - my potatoes came out cold, but everything else was spot on.
