Cedar House Pub is located within the beautiful Granlibakken Tahoe resort and is open to guests and anyone looking for a great meal. It is known for its gastro pub menu prepared by an award-winning culinary team. Indoor and seasonal outdoor seating available or surprise your family with a delectable to-go dinner. We offer many dining options for those with specialized dietary needs, family-style meals, and choices for little humans’ distinguished pallets.

A great atmosphere awaits you in Cedar House Pub, featuring a warm wood fire in the winter months, a well stocked bar, and large windows looking out into Granlibakken's quiet, private valley which is surrounded by fir trees and pines.

Our Cedar House Deck is open seasonally. Breakfast buffet served daily in GranHall.

Service was great and server was very knowledgeable about menu. Food was average. Baked onion soup used too much bread and by end was just a bunch of onion. Large open area with access to the kitchen visual. Old fashioned was average.

Christmas buffet was still good at the last seating of the evening. Nice staff. Prime rib was excellent.

This review is for the Christmas Day buffet in the Mountain Ballroom. The atmosphere was meh, but I knew it would be since it was located in the ballroom. The food options were varied, which is what appealed when I booked. But, the food was mostly all cold, so the overall taste was just average. Disappointing given the price for the buffet. The persimmon pudding with chantilly cream was delicious. Also, we weren't staying at the resort and arrived in the dark. The signage was severely lacking, which made it very hard to find the ballroom driving in the snow.

Great experience! Food was good. A ham or prime rib option would have been great too, but the sides and soup were spectacular. The hors d' oeuvres were a little lackluster though. But great environment and service. Very family friendly.

If you want comfort food, this is the place to go . We love the people always charming and perfect Tahoe pub food.

Nice casual restaurant. Friendly service and excellent food. The Ahi appetizer in a cone is a must. The trout was fresh and prepared with a curry sauce ane fresh tomatoes. Th Schnitzel is a favorite. Wine is a deal here with the glass/bottle prices being very reasonable. We ate outside on the deck this time but the inside is cozy. It’s great to have a place in Tahoe City with a variety of good meal choices, friendly service, fair prices and where you can also make a reservation!

Love this hidden gem…great food and drink! Tuna is great in the comes. Incredible spicy margaritas! And coconut margaritas!! Great spot!!
