Located at 9 Kensington Square, London, a short stroll from Hyde Park, Grato is a chic Italian restaurant. With a focus on regional cuisine and the freshest ingredients, every dish is imbued with culture. Our handmade pasta is crafted with love in our very own kitchen; our wines are sourced from artisan vineyards. Our evolving menus reflect the seasons and celebrate Italy’s culinary wonders.
Dine on the ground floor overlooking one of London's oldest garden squares or you can dine alfresco facing the lush square. At the lower level is another dining room reminiscent of an Italian wine grotto - the perfect space for a celebration.

We accept all credit cards (no AMEX) & cash.Our outdoor tables are timed for 1.5hr to allow other guests to enjoy al fresco. We cannot always guarantee a seat of your choice. Thank you

    Fine Italian dining in pleasant surroundings, attentive staff and reasonably priced too. Our party of 8 had a variety of dishes, top recommended is the homemade pumpkin ravioli, risotto, veal escalope, panna cotta and tiramisu - all simply stunning! Thank you all for a fabulous meal!

    What a fabulous little eaterie. My friend and I ate very light items but what we had was outstanding. We agreed that when we are in the mood for a great plate of pasta we are coming back here. It looked so good!

    I love this little neighbourhood restaurant. The owner Pietrro and his team are so welcoming, the food is honest. Come for the service and stay for the tiramisu which is made in-house and is delicious. A great wine selection and a wonderful neighbourhood vibe.

    Lovely small neighborhood Italian restaurant. Warm service, fresh food, daily specials. It’s a small place but they have a downstairs and a few tables outside. Lovely people and food.

    An absolutely phenomenal Restaurant with wonderful service and delicious food ! Everything is very elegant and simple therefore very warm and comfortable. The food is in the perfect Italian with excellent products prepared with precision and love. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a good time and a delicious meal. I especially recommend the tiramisu coming from the owner‘s mother‘s recipe and their truffle pasta that is to die for.
