In the heart of the East Devon countryside, surrounded by acres of farmland, you'll find the award-winning Greendale Farm Shop and it's family-friendly café & restaurant. The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are no problem and we have a children's menu for the little ones, too. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as tea and coffee, delicious cakes and Devon cream teas.

Once you've eaten why not take a stroll along our family farm trail. The trails follow a level path that’s just right for pushchairs and little legs where you can say hello to all of the animals, including Oscar the Ostrich.

On Sunday and Monday evenings, from 3.30pm, our restaurant serves from our extensive fish and chip menu only.

    Visited a number of times and always found it a pleasant experience. Today it was crowded, so a little noisy, but you can’t blame the restaurant for that. All-in-all, highly recommended.

    Service was not good with many of those waiting verging on rude. Limited breakfast menu and portion sizes not great value for money or of good quality. Will not be returning 🙁

    The staff are great and the ambience here is lovely, really relaxed.........I have been a few times and the food had always been good, however this time 2 of us ordered Cod & Chips and 2 of us ordered Haddock & chips and both descriptions were the same e.g. 8 oz fish, but when the plates came out the cod plates were significantly smaller??? On the upside the balsamic used in the bread on oil starter was AMAZING!

    Lovely venue and great food. Definately book ahead if you can as it gets very busy !

    Quite a busy lunch period. We had booked a table and we were seated quickly. We were asked whether it was breakfast lunch we wanted and then given menus. Reasonable wait before we gave our order and food was delivered quite quickly. Portion size was good but not too much! Really appreciate that. Fish and chips were ordinary but fine. Nothing to complain about. I eat them again! Bit noisy - there were a few small children present. Not a problem: we were there once! Cafe clean and tidy. Good lunch.

    Unfortunately our visit today was not a good experience. We have been before and enjoyed the food, but this morning the food was not hot, the waiting staff, need to be taught customer service etiquette!! A disappointing experience this morning, even more so as it was a treat for my parents!
