Made a booking online about 3 weeks ago. All confirmed and received a confirmation email on the Friday before. Arrived on the night for a birthday celebration to a packed restaurant and no booking as apparently they don’t take bookings from Friday to Sunday ? Food was very average, watery pasta and a tough as nails steak. The setting was lovely but the overall venue has better options in other restaurants.

We were first timers to the area. What a lovely place to dine. Staff were friendly, Meals were quick to come out. Proportions were huge & also priced reasonably. We joined the Club for a members discount. The kids loved looking at all the train station memorabilia which gave a station vibe.

I was a bit disappointed there was no custard in the desert section. I heard people mentioning it. It’s Christmas Day meal with plum pudding - where was the custard? Also why put food on the top self eg prawns in the food section. Being five foot tall it was very difficult to serve from there. Not big problems but not the best experience either. Staff were wonderful as usual.

Overall disappointed in what was advertised as Christmas lunch. There was no carols playing, other than bon bon on the table i didn't really notice any decorations. The lunch buffet was tasty enough but not really worth the $140 pp we paid. They ran out of ice cream at the desert station and there was not a lot of variety there. Not a very festive experience for us unfortunately.

Christmas lunch at the club Was very nice Lots of food choice from And the amount of staff on the day was very good and helpful as well But only one thing U could have had more staff Clearing the tables Over all very impressed

This has been the best experience food wise at Christmas for me. The array of food that was on show, all beautifully showcased. The oysters, may I add, were chilled, prawns and crab were sweet and fresh. The amount of food showcased was bountiful and I didn't even get through half of what was on offer. All I know is that I had the best experience, it wasn't crowded, it was 10/10 and not anything like a food court, but a 5 star restaurant. Desserts, cheese platters, fruit...I didn't even get to unfortunately. It was a foodies dream and coming home, a clean house. No stress leading up to Christmas, it was all done in house and I walked away content and will do again.

Lovely atmosphere but layout of serving area was very congested just needs different layout for ease of flow.. also feel at least one drink should be included in meal cost. Overall a very nice experience good value & really nice food

We visited during the Mothers Day buffet offer. Amazing value and great variety of foods to meet every family members taste buds. The staff were incredible, checking how we were gong, offering assistance and making sure everyone enjoyed themselves and the food. Food was topped up, hot and delicious AT ALL TIMES. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My Mother’s Day felt so special that we will do this again! Highly recommended buffet.

The food was good, prawns were lovely although they ran out of the tiger prawns and the substitute was not nearly as nice….i think 65.00 for children was too much, one granddaughter ate chips, garlic bread and some ice cream….the 12 yo ate Caesar salad and chips and nuggets….i wouldn’t pay so much again especially as your other restaurants were opened but loved the club, first visit
