Experience the freshest family favorites in Uptown Gig Harbor at the Greenhouse restaurant. This casual, family-friendly eatery features seasonal menus, bursting with local produce, seafood and spirits. Helmed by renowned chef Erik Smith, each dish is created to order, using responsibly, locally sourced ingredients, artfully prepared and plated in an elegant, inviting ambience.

Greenhouse features full lunch and dinner menus, as well as appetizers, small and large bites and decadent desserts that change daily. It also offers a special Twilight Menu, with three-course meals ranging from light to hearty fare, and a Happy Hour menu that is featured in the bar. The extensive wine and beer list also changes daily, spotlighting local microbreweries and wineries, as well as perennial favorites that pair perfectly with the menu options. Greenhouse is open for lunch and dinner; information about private bookings for parties, meetings, receptions and corporate events is available on request.

We invited some friends to join us for dinner at the Green House. Without exception, everything we ordered - drinks, appetizers and main entrees . Our server, Benjamin, is tops. He was super attentive and very courteous. We'll definitely be back.

Westley was a fabulous server!!!! He kept the coffee HOT which we love. Truly wonderful dining experience and he was careful with my food allergies. Wow!!!!!

We have eaten at the Green House many times but this is the first time we had a large party (9). for a birthday lunch. Eric was our server and he was first rate. He was very attentive without bring intrusive and the table we were assigned was one of the quieter ones near the fire place and away from the windows. We have found tables closer to the windows to be somewhat noisier. The teenagers in our party all praised the burgers they chose but the adults were more much more adventurous. Even at lunch time there is a large and varied menu and there were even some items on a special birthday menu (including items like rack of lamb). All in all, a great place for large party to enjoy wonderful food in a bright and airy place.

It was NYE and also my husband’s birthday. We never go out on his birthday because, well, it’s NYE, lol. Decided to try Green House as we’d never been. We could only book a reservation for the patio. Had to wait awhile for that even. Lo and behold, we were seated inside because our hostess said we had to wait so long. Wow!! Outstanding food and service! Will be going again!

Food was so awesome! Ambience was great they do a good job in decorating for new years the years we have gone. So festive! Service was good too. Just a little disappointed with check in. We got there 20 minutes before are 6pm reservation time. Checked in. Then at 6 pm we watch all others that just came in get seated before us. I did go back to check in and mentioned we were waiting and already checked in 20 min ago. She said well it is only 606 pm. Then they finally seated us. I know it is a busy night… but still.

Everything except our arrival and brief interaction with the hostess was wonderful. Renita our server is a gem and all of our food was superb. We especially enjoyed the goat cheese appy. Upon arrival we were not greeted by the hostess that was on the phone and made no eye contact or effort to acknowledge our arrival. We decided to take a seat in the waiting area after a few minutes to wait. Others arrived while the hostess remained on the phone (7+ minutes). Once off the phone she decided to seat those just arriving and ignored those of us that had arrived earlier and were waiting in the seating area so as to not block the entry. So we got up and got back in line and were finally seated. We felt invisible. We'll be back as we have had great food and service upon every visit - except this one. However, if upon arrival at our next visit I see that same hostess.....I will turn around and head somewhere else.
