   Recommended to try by a family member who lives in Edinburgh. Did not disappoint. Food was excellent, completely different take on salmon Benedict and it did not disappoint, it was amazing. Fresh ingredients and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Will be back!

   Gorgeous brunch spot with an excellent menu and great service. Would highly recommend and it is always worth booking as it gets busy!

   Really enjoyed our brunch. Very busy and glad we booked as so many people were being turned away. Tables very tightly packed in to the space. Food excellent and friendly service.

   Despite having booked and left a credit card deposit a walk in couple who arrived at the same time as us were taken directly to a nice table. We had to wait on the stairs and When we said we had a booking we were told but you’re 5 mins early! After waiting for quite a few minutes more we were shown to the worst table in the restaurant at the entrance to the kitchen. They should have prioritised those who booked in advance. The food was average and overpriced and it was a poor experience. We’re locals but tourists were treated better. We won’t go back and we wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

   Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Here at Greenwoods we do offer walk in space if there is availability but always prioritise our reservations, and walk in space is therefore very limited. We offer walk in customers specific tables where they will have a time restriction to avoid conflicting with later reservations. You did arrive more than ten minutes early for your reservation and were seated earlier than your reservation time. We consider all our tables to be of equal quality and would have tried our upmost to have moved you if a request had been made or honour a request for specific tables if one was left in the booking notes. We apologise that you found the table so undesirable; you would have been more than welcome to leave and have your deposit released.

   Great experience having breakfast here for my birthday and valentines. Food was lovely, staff all friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was busy so noise level was higher than I can imagine is normal but loved it.

   Fantastic food and service, as always. Really varied menu fir both of us (one carnivore and one vegetarian!) and delicious, fresh and exciting flavours. Staff, as ever, were attentive and helpful. Best brunch in Edinburgh.
