Welcome to Greg Norman Australian Grille – an Australian heritage restaurant on the waterfront at Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach, SC.     This is a special restaurant! The food is always amazing and the service is the best. They have a complete staff to support their waiters. The manager stopped at our table to make sure we had everything we wanted and thanked us for coming. After many years in N. Myrtle Beach this is still a favorite for locals and tourists. Our favorite waitress from over 20 years ago still works there!

    We had a fantastic experience, wonderful dinner, prime, rib, and ribeye and a more lava cake for dessert. Lizette was our waitress. We’ll always go back.

    My wife and I arrived for our 8 PM Valentine’s Day reservation, looking forward to a romantic dinner. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. We weren’t seated until 8:25 PM because other patrons had been lingering at their tables for over three hours, according to the staff. Once seated, things didn’t improve. The couple next to us, who arrived after we did, received their food a full 20 minutes before us. When our meals finally arrived, they were underwhelming, to say the least. I ordered the $105 Wagyu Filet, but it had no flavor whatsoever—it tasted like a basic $30 steak with nothing special about it. It was simply placed on a giant plate with no care for presentation. My wife ordered the $85 twin lobster tails, which turned out to be two tiny, bland pieces of lobster thrown onto a plate with no effort in preparation. The side dish was described as “family-style,” but we received only a small cup that came with my steak. After asking about the portion, we waited another 10 minutes before receiving an additional serving. Service throughout the meal was lacking—my water wasn’t refilled until I was literally signing the bill. For a total of $235 (before tip), the food and service were shockingly mediocre. We left feeling completely ripped off. This was far from the high-end dining experience we expected, and we won’t be returning.

    Service was very good and friendly. Food was good but expensive. However, the restaurant MUST IMPROVE their reservation system. For the third straight visit we waited for more than 30 minutes in an extremely crowded waiting area. We were corralled like livestock until our name was called. I counted 35 people standing while waiting for a table at 7pm. When we left after dinner, it was the same situation at 9pm. Not nearly enough seats and wait was far too long. To be a 1st class establishment, this situation has to be improved.

    Had a reservation, came in a little early but we were promptly seated at our reservation time. Host persons were very friendly. Wait staff was outstanding, our waiter was warm, friendly, and had some great recommendations. Top notch!! My wife ordered the seafood pasta special, and my Italian wife said it was one of the best pasta dishes she had ever had! I took our waiter’s recommendation and ordered the prime rib. Absolutely delicious and the loaded baked potato was good enough to be dessert. But since it was Valentine’s night we split the dessert special and it too was absolutely delicious. Probably the best place in Myrtle Beach for a relaxing but elegant meal. We will be back!

    It was Valentines Day so they were very crowded we had reservations and were seated timely and the food was wonderful 😃

    Rack of lamb was well done, sent it back. When they returned my plate, the carrots were cold lamb was okay
