Great menu choices. Lovely food combinations. I had the Pan-fried with chorizo and prawn orzo, samphire, and saffron cream sauce. It was delicious. Service impeccable and unobtrusive. Decent selection of real ales.

Lovely, cosy pub. Log burner. Table service, very accommodating. Sandwiches very tasty, served with crisps, coleslaw and salad garnish, had soup as extra. First time, definitely go back. All thoroughly enjoyed it.

What a super restaurant/pub - nice and busy - always a good sign! Food and service first class and an excellent bottle of Primitivo. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend - a real find!

This was really disappointing. We were meeting friends and had been recommended eating here, so had hoped for a lovely evening. We don’t often eat out, so for us- it was a long awaited treat. We were disappointed re the rule regarding alcohol- our son works at a local restaurant and so is aware of the lisence laws that with adults- and there were 4- an alcoholic drink can be had during a meal. We presumed an online driving lisence with a photo, would have been acceptable. There are ways that staff can inform you of rules if they differ from the normal, however, the waitresses manner was not overly friendly. If at this point we could have left without ordering and eating we would have done but I was aware that I had already left credit card details so guess if we had left, we would still have to pay. There was no one to greet us at door despite it not being overly busy. The atmosphere in the Greyhound was unusual-The party next to us in the bar were loud, often with loud offensive swearing through the evening, and for our table- this is not something we are happy to tolerate as we don’t use the “f word” ourselves- certainly not when out for dinner. It did make us feel very uncomfortable. The white wine we had was not nice - the white Rioja -and I didn’t personally drink my wine. I preferred to drink the tap water instead. Unfortunate as I had ordered a large glass. The food was ok- didn’t find it overly hot, and there was mixed feedback from our party. The chicken supreme was nice as were the desserts. We won’t be returning to eat here again.

Vegetable accompanying main course consisted of,1 very thin strip of carrot,3 strands of broccoli spears and small amount of mashed potato. Had to pay for extra portion of veg and got,1 very thin strip of carrot and 3 strips of broccoli spears?. Very disappointed.
