Founded in 2017 by owner/operator Brandon Smith, a Washington Crossing native, who has been involved with Bucks County restaurants for over 20 years. Grey Stone, the hidden gem of Newtown, offers sophisticated American comfort food in a vibrant, upscale casual atmosphere - just 3 minutes from the Borough! We beautifully refurbished the property formerly known as Lavendar Hall, continuing the prestige from years' past as a staple of the Bucks County fine dining scene. The restaurant features a food menu, by talented Chef Robert McNally, that changes by season to utilize the freshest of local ingredients. My first time eating here on 13 Feb 2025: For advertising as fine dining, it was not that. No fresh bread and butter/olive oil or any type of niceties you typically get with fine dining. The apple walnut salad was mostly lettuce with very few toppings. and needed salt. Overall, I felt it was overpriced and that I was nickel and dimed 3 different times for the entire meal. #1-Happy hour for drink and app specials goes until 630, but not if you're dining in...why not? #2-mixed cocktails were $15 and it was a small cognac glass that had about 5oz total in it, smallest glass I've ever seen! #3- to top it off at the end, they add a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card...tacky and disappointing. The one bright spot: we did have the porterhouse for two...it was good and cooked just right. It will be a very long time (if ever) before I go back. There are plenty of other fine dining restaurants in the Yardley/Newtown that I have been to that don't skimp on food and drinks and add surcharges with food that is just as good.

Valet on Sat night was nice. Great ambiance. Food delicious. Bit pricey overall. Would go back for special occasion.

The staff here is wonderful! Christina was so sweet and the gift card surprise at the end was amazing! Food was top notch as well

Greystone has moved into my top 5 restaurants in Bucks County. What a pleasant surprise our dining experience was. I had the salmon over pearl couscous and it was so delicious I’m so excited to return for another taste. Our waiter was so friendly and efficient but we weren’t rushed and were able to enjoy a leisurely meal. The dessert menu was equally impressive. I had the Hawaiian bread pudding and it was outstanding. Greystone will be my restaurant of choice to celebrate special occasions and bring guests to. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Pros: Very nice experience. Food was delicious and ambience was warm and inviting. Appreciated the birthday recognition. Cons: Maybe they could have used more servers on the floor as ours seemed busy and short on time with us (though friendly). Thought pricing was on the high side for certain dishes ($48 for scallops, $16 for a side of vegetables).

Great experience! The service was impeccable. Very, very attentive to their guests. Meal was delicious and the chocolate mousse dessert was delicious. Christina was an excellent waitress!
