Breakfast, lunch, dinner, noshes and cocktails. Located in the Hotel La Rose, Grossman's offers Mark Stark's inspired take on Jewish cuisine from the East Coast to Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Guests can enjoy the outdoor seating area, order at the deli counter, pick up a grab 'n go meal or baked goods like Bagels, Babka, Black & White Cookies, Rugelach, Challah and Rye Bread from the in-house bakery. Come in, call in, or order online for takeout. Lox, Corned Beef, Pastrami, Full Sour Pickles, Falafel and many other delicacies are made in house based on family recipes. We have a small retail area with Jewish specialty items like Halva, Matzoh Chips and Crackers and hard to find condiments.

Everything was tasty but the size of the portions is very small, so you need to order extras. For instance, the bagel on the lox platter seemed mini size, and instead of the usual 2 slices of toast that a breakfast scramble might normally come with, we got just one very thin size of bread (which was tasty). I would add some hard-boiled eggs and probably potatoes or something else (or just order 3 lox platters for 2 people). Also, the lox scramble was disappointing because the "lox" was different than that used on the lox platter. Instead of the nice, shiny, thinly sliced kind that we expected, they use a thicker type of salmon chunks that just seemed like regular baked salmon. The outdoor seating is nothing special but it is nice to have a place that is dog-friendly, and the heaters and umbrellas kept it warm.

Always consistently good. Eat here. We had the breakfast and it was really good. Lox plate and a poached egg dish with pastrami

Food was unseasoned. They have nice drinks though . Our server was exceptional and accommodating and recommend some good choices . French toast was to die for . Other than that none of us enjoyed our food even the child .

Grossman’s never disappoints. Food is amazing, wait staff was professional and helpful. Ate outside for the first time. Was a gorgeous February day and it was perfect. Not too noisy, comfortable seating, a great way to enjoy lunch (or dinner). Can’t wait to go back.

Excellent as always, although there isn't a Stark restaurant we don't love, and we live in Mendo! Check out the reviews on PBS' Check Please Bay Area, and you'll get the idea why.

This is one of my favorite lunch go to’s, but the service wasn’t great this time (understaffed?), and the noise level when sitting inside is intolerable for me. Luckily they have a lovely outdoor seating area, and fair weather is coming soon, so I won’t be eating inside again anytime soon. The food was excellent as usual, and that’s the most important thing. Today we had the matzo ball soup and Cobb salad and they were oh-so-yummy.

Great service and we had requested a booth so it was nice and quiet. Pastrami was yummy as usual, although I find their rye bread doughy. I’d suggest toasting it as a standard. Also , $8 for a small side of coleslaw is a bit absurd. As is $5 each for a plain cup of coffee. The cookies are fabulous if, again, quite pricey.

What a great little deli atmosphere. Food and cocktails were all excellent. Service on a Monday night before closing was still impeccable.
