   Lovely meal this afternoon. I couldn’t decide whether to have the roast beef or pork but the waitress suggested the beef is better. She was not wrong, the best roast beef I’ve had in years! All the trimmings were great too. I did have a pudding (sticky toffee) but it didn’t live up to the main course. The portion was huge, not always a bad thing, but there wasn’t enough cream to go with it so it was really rich and I couldn’t finish it all. The wait staff were really friendly though and we really enjoyed our meal. I had been for a roast dinner there a few years back but don’t remember it being as good as it was today

   Booked for daughter's birthday supper. Became more challenging when we realised we had to get her back to school within 45minutes. Staff and kitchen rose to challenge admirably and with good humour, delivering top-notch steaks and actually the best triple cooked chips any of us have ever had. Would consider returning just for chips, but that diminishes everything else 0 all really excellent. Thank you!

   Quite quiet as it was a Wednesday lunchtime. Good menu, food was hot and good. Lovely lady serving.

   Consistently excellent food, service and ambience. Really enjoy having our termly dinner here. Food is always delicious and service attentive. Would highly recommend.

    Good menu choice and great pizza. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. We chose to sit in the bar rather than the restaurant area. It was a bit noisy but had more atmosphere.
